The way to solve this problem is to make guns when ADS for at least the first shot 100% accurate. This game scraps all that and gives you this fixed accuracy for no matter what you are doing. Most other FPS games have a dynamic ADS accuracy which changes based on what you are doing, such as shooting, moving, ect. It becomes very frustrating when you die based on an mechanic you simply cannot control or outplay and are required by the devs to leave it up to chance no matter what you do.It takes the 'skill' of having well placed meaningful shots that could actually be rewarding upon hitting them and just incentivizes the player to just hold the fire button with every gunfight they go in to be the most effective they can be no matter what the range is.Long range gun fights boil down to essentially RNG of whos gun is more accurate and who can get lucky with hitting their shots more.

Your gun will still be just as inaccurate if you were holding down the trigger and going full auto. Meaning bullets have a predetermined spread regardless if you tap fire or shoot guns slowly, it doesn't matter. and this one problem is what ultimately holds this game back for me from being a great game I could genuinely recommend to people. and this one has never ever been addressed at all in any way from what I can see. This game has several core gun play problems that have plagued it from the very start.
